Will Katrina Kaif be used again as glam doll in Zero? Fear looms after Husn Parcham song teaser

Katrina Kaif is all set to sizzle in an item song titled Husn Parcham for the movie Zero. A teaser of the song video is already out, which has been making a lot of noise. But with this, a speculation of Katrina being used just a glam doll in yet another movie is doing the rounds.

Katrina was seen having very little screen presence in Thugs of Hindostan. She was mostly seen in some dance sequences and had very little to add to the plot. Now, the diva is going to be seen playing the character of a glamorous actress in Zero.

As soon as the teaser of Husn Parcham was released, Katrina's fans got extremely excited to see her flaunting her oomph factor and dance moves in yet another song video. However, there is a section of fans, who fear Katrina will again be used just to add glamour quotient to Zero.

It is being said that the actress has gradually been turning into a mere "item song dancer". Also, the trailer of Zero has lesser screen space for Katrina than that of Anushka Sharma, which again made many feel sceptical about her significance in the film.

Some even started saying that it is only Salman Khan, who gives an equally significant role to Katrina in his films. This conception arose as she had a powerful role in Tiger Zinda Hai, but a minor one in Thugs of Hindostan. And now, many started to believe that Katrina will again be under-utilised in Zero.

Nonetheless, Katrina recently said that she sports a glamorous avatar in Zero only for in the song husn Parcham.

"This is the only time you will see Babita, my character, in a glamorous avatar in the film. In reality, Babita is going through the darkest phase in her life. Her relationship is over, her career is on the downhill, and she is dejected and vulnerable," she told Mid-Day.

While Katrina certainly looks stunning in the teaser of the song video, it will be interesting to see if she indeed has an equally valuable role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero.
