Kangana Ranaut had received many accolades for her performance in "Queen." The film is considered to be director Vikas Bahl's one of the best creations till date. However, a sequel to "Queen" is not likely to happen.
Talking about probability of "Queen 2," Vikas said that he does not have a story for the sequel. Nevertheless, he said that if he happens to make a sequel to the movie, the story will be from the male character's perspective.
"I don't think 'Queen 2' is happening. I don't think I have another story to tell in that world. I will tell you what? If I ever make 'Queen 2,' it would be from the boy's point of view. Because you know, every story is from a point of view. It's only because you leave the boy back in India and move on with the girl, you only see things from her perspective. You can change any story to any perspective. And if there is ever a 'Queen 2,' it should be from the boy's perspective," the director told Miss Malini.com when asked about making "Queen 2."
The movie "Queen" is one of the most successful female oriented Bollywood films to date. Apart from the "Rangoon" actress, the film featured Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon. The story of "Queen" showed Kangana as a naive Punjabi girl, who heads off to honeymoon alone to a foreign country after the boy called off the wedding. Kangana had received many awards for her performance in the film.
Meanwhile, Bollywood is reportedly gearing up for a number of sequels. Some of the upcoming Bollywood sequels are "Andaz Apna Apna," "Badrinath Ki Dulhania," "3 Idiots" and "Jolly LLB."
