Former EXO members Kris (Wu Yifan) and Luhan will have their next round of court-ordered mediation with SM Entertainment on 27 March. While this will be Kris' fifth meeting with the firm, Luhan's will be meeting them for the fourth time.
The mediation was initially scheduled for 27 February, but Seoul Central District Court postponed it to the next month for unrevealed reasons, reported allkpop.
Meanwhile, there is buzz that SM Entertainment's lawsuit against their former members in Shanghai and Hong Kong Courts has caused the rescheduling. However, both the sides are tight-lipped over the issue.
Kris and Luhan have already started facing several road blocks, including the cancellation of CCTV's "Spring Festival Gala", due to the ongoing friction with the record label.
So they may have to end the legal battle to move on as the firm is planning to protect their rights in other countries also.
But the recently released statement by the former South Korean-Chinese K-pop boy band members criticises SM Entertainment for misusing its power to defame the young celebs and limit their activities. It also indicates that they will continue to fight for their rights and interests.
The dispute between Kris, Luhan and SM Entertainment began after the celebs bid goodbye to the company and filed lawsuits against it in last May and October, respectively. And if the issue is not settled through the mediation, it will be taken to court for standard civil proceedings.
