The stage is set for a box office battle this year. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's "Dilwale" will be released on 18 December, the same day when Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" is poised to hit theatres.
Earlier, Rohit Shetty's directorial was scheduled to be released on 25 December to avoid a clash with Bhansali who had fixed 18 December as the release date for his "BajiraoMastani". But the Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh flick's release got delayed due to Singh's injury.
The clash of these two big banner films might get unpleasant as both of them are big budget films.
While one has the rumoured, real-life couple Ranveer-Deepika in the leads, the other features the evergreen onscreen couple SRK-Kajol. Both the films will need a big opening to set cash registers ringing.
Meanwhile, several pictures of SRK and Kajol from the sets of "Dilwale" in Bulgaria are doing the rounds online. The pair is coming together after five long years. On Tuesday, King Khan announced the release date on his Twitter handle.

"Dilwale" also has Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Vinod Khanna, Boman Irani and Kabir Bedi in prominent roles.
However, Bhansali might re-think to avoid a clash, as he has once failed the battle earlier when "Om Shanti Om" and "Saawariya" were released together.
