Latest buzz doing rounds in the Kollywood industry is that actor Ajith will team up with director Gautham Vasudev Menon.
It may be recalled that Gautham had planned to join hands with Suriya for a new film, which was expected to kick-off this year. But, Suriya opted out of the film as there was no progress. Two weeks ago, the "Singam 2" actor sent a letter to the media officially confirming that he has backed out of Gautham's film as he did not get the complete script of the film even after waiting for over a year. Now, buzz is that Gautham reportedly met Ajith to discuss about working together. Ajith's representative said it is too early to talk about it, but confirmed that the director met Ajith. He also added that there is a possibility they might team up for a film, reported The Hindu.
The director-actor duo was supposed to team up for a film few years ago, but it not materialise after which Ajith did "Asal" with Charan.
Ajith's upcoming film "Arrambam" is all set to hit the screens for Diwali. The actor is also working in another Tamil film titled "Veeram". The film, directed by "Siruthai" Siva, will be releasing for Pongal next year. Ajith has reportedly not signed any other films apart from the aforementioned projects. It is not clear if the film with Gautham will be his next project after "Veeram".
