Bollywood diva, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was reported to make her comeback with Prahlad Kakkar's directorial debut "Happy Anniversary," could be having second thoughts on the project.
The actress apparently is unhappy with her good friend Kakkar over his recent comments. The adman had stated in an earlier interview that Aishwarya has to loose considerable amount of weight in order to play the younger character in the film.
"It'll just be good to have Aishwarya on board, but she has to lose a little more weight, as she has to play a 21-year-old, and age till 29. Her character will also be pregnant with twins," Kakkar had told Hindustan Times.
And now a report by Bollywood Life claims that Kakkar's statement has not gone down well with the 40-year-old. She is said to be upset with debutant director's public statement and might be reconsidering her decision of working in "Happy Anniversary."
It should be noted that previously too Kakkar had let out to media that Aishwarya and Abhishek would pair up for his "Happy Anniversary" which was later refuted by the "Dhoom 3" actor. The actor had stated nothing was confirmed yet.
Moreover, the ad filmmaker in the course of his interview had also let out that the film's shooting would require Aishwarya to shoot out of town for two months. But this could prove a dampener since the former Miss World is a hands-on mother to her two-year-old daughter Aaradhya.
Also after reports surfaced that Sushmita Sen would feature in "Happy Anniversary" along with Aishwarya, the former has confirmed her association with the project. But Aishwarya has not spoken out on the film yet.
It should also be pointed that despite the film's announcement months ago, there has been no official update on the film or its cast yet. The former beauty queen's only confirmed project at present is Mani Ratnam's next with Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna.
