While the 15th edition of the prestigious Star Parivaar Awards ended on a grand note, Divyanka Tripathi, despite bagging maximum awards, was left disturbed.
Popularly known for her on-screen role of Ishita in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein", Divyanka lost her expensive jewelleries on the day of the event. The actress was supposed to wear the accessories during a particular act, but they went missing from her vanity van and she was extremely upset about it.
However, much to her relief, the actress was informed a day later that the jewelleries were found in another artist's van. Overjoyed to get her belongings back, Divyanka, who was emotionally attached to the accessories, thanked her designer Jerry who found it.
"I am relieved and thankful to the designer Jerry for his efforts and promptness in finding the jewellery. More than the money involved, I was sad because each and every piece was chosen by me with utmost care. The jewellery had emotional value as I had bought it especially for the event," Divyanka told Telly Chakkar.
Earlier the actress had spoken about how she thought that the jewellery had been stolen and how sad she was about it. "Yes, it is true and honestly, I am feeling so bad after this incident happened. First of all, the management was so bad that you cannot understand whom to blame and who not. I was given such a small vanity van which had a single lock. There were so many expensive stuffs inside my vanity and those jewelries were one of them. I felt like, it just got misplaced under my eyes," she told Daily Bhaskar.
"Divyanka had got the ethnic and choker jewellery especially for the event and had kept it in her vanity. Having left the vanity isolated, she couldn't find the jewellery after some time," a source told Telly Chakkar
