Much-in-love B-Town couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have already played the perfect hosts to a lavish pre-Christmas bash held at their refreshingly done-up love nest at in Bandra, but reports suggest that the "Bang Bang" actress will not be attending the special festival luncheon at the Kapoor's.
"Katrina has left for London to be with her mom and sisters for Christmas. Although initially the plan was to join the Kapoors for their yearly bash, she later decided to spend the holidays with her family in the UK," Mumbai Mirror quoted an insider.
The report also revealed how every year the Kapoors get together at Shashi Kapoor's residence to attend a family lunch hosted by his children Kunal and Sanjana.
However, the couple will not be separated for long as it has been widely reported that the Kapoor scion might take off to London to ring in 2015 with his ladylove Kaif. "Don't be surprised if you see RK in London for New Year's as the couple were toying with the idea of a small break together since it has been a hectic year for both of them," added the source.
Before Katrina's absence from the family get-together gets critiqued and speculated, a friend of the actress was quick to inform that Ranbir's folks don't have issues with the beautiful lady giving the Christmas luncheon a miss for a family holiday.
After "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani" and "Rajneeti" the hot on and off-screen couple will be next seen in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos" in which Ranbir will essay the role of a teenager, whereas Katrina will play a 22-year-old. Shot at varied locations, the film is reportedly the first part of three-film franchise and is a detective drama.
Additionally, Katrina has signed "Fitoor" alongside Aditya Roy Kapoor and Rekha, and Ranbir will star in Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet" and Vikramjit Singh's "Roy" opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal.
