Actress-turned-producer Lakshmi Manchu was seen shedding tears at his brother Manoj's engagement with Pranathi Reddy on 4 March; guests say that they were tears of joy.
The Manchu family held a grand function for the engagement of Manoj and his girlfriend Pranathi at Park Hyatt in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on Wednesday. Lakshmi Manchu was seen hugging her brother Vishnu and crying during the event. Many people who were present at the event were surprised over her emotional attachment towards her brother.
A person close to Manchu family, who attended the engagement ceremony, told that Lakshmi was overjoyed with Manoj's engagement. "They were happy tears. Lakshmi always attached to Manoj and she had always after Manoj about his marriage. She is so happy for him that he's finally getting married now," Gulte quoted the person as saying.
The photos featuring Lakshmi Manchu's emotional moment at Manoj's engagement soon started circulating on social media, creating lot of buzz.
On Thursday morning, Lakshmi Manchu took to her Twitter account to talk about the moment. She wrote: "One of the most overwhelming and emotional days yesterday was. Letting go is such a powerful feeling. May Manu and Prani b blessed. ❤️☺️"
Meanwhile, Lakshmi Manchu also revealed her excitement over Manoj's wedding with Pranathi to be held later. The actress tweeted: "It was magical to see so many well wishers,friends and family come to bless the couple. Now I can't wait for the wedding. Grateful❤️"
Lakshmi Manchu has spent few years in a foreign land, but she has not forgotten traditional Indian values. She shares great bonding with her family members. She is attached to her two brothers Vishnu and Manoj. Besides being busy bringing up her daughter Vidya Nirvana Manchu, she also equally bonds with Vishnu's twin daughters Ariaana and Viviana.
