The much talked about bi-annual fashion event of India, Lakme Fashion Week 2015, started with Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. A-list bollywood celebrities, including Sussanne Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Twinkle Khanna, Dimple Kapadia and Sonali Bendre among others attended the opening act at the Lakme Fashion Week.
But one family gave a miss to the opening show of one of the best designers of the industry. Apparently, the designer duo called Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his family for the show, but they missed the event.
"Salman Khan and his family were personally invited by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for their show at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festivelast night, however they gave the show a miss. It seems that they are still unhappy with the designer duo for messing up Arpita Khan's wedding outfit. The family had expressed their unhappiness towards the duo's work on Arpita's dress during her lavish wedding and it seems they still haven't forgiven them. So, Salman and family snubbed the show," BollywoodLife.com quoted source as saying.
If reports are to be believed, the designer duo annoyed the members of the Khan family during Arpita Khan Sharma's wedding and it was Jaya Bachchan who pacified the angry Salman.
And looks like, even after eight months the Khan family is in no mood to forgive the designer duo.
