Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who is the latest sensation in the southern film industry, says that she cannot compare herself with established actresses like Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Tammannaah Bhatia.
Having entered Tollywood with 'Keratam' in 2011, Rakul hogged the limelight with her second Telugu movie 'Venkatadri Express' in 2013. Her performance in the film flooded her with several big-ticket projects. In 2014, she was seen with Aadi, Gopichand and Manchu Manoj respectively in 'Rough', 'Loukyam' and 'Current Theega', which became box office hits.
Following the release of these films, Rakul Preet signed to star in Ram's 'Pandaga Chesko', Ravi Teja's 'Kick 2', Ram Charan-Srinu Vaitla's untitled project and Junior NTR's forthcoming film. The success of these films made her another lucky actress and many have started comparing her with leading actresses Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Tammannaah Bhatia.
Talking about the comparisons, Rakul Preet Singh says that the numbers game does not bother her. "I cannot compare myself with Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha or Tammannaah. They have been working from much before I entered the industry. I remember, when I was doing my first Telugu film, I was shown films of Kajal and Genelia to learn acting," She told The Times of India.
Rakul Preet Singh is not worried about her future in the industry. "I also know that sooner or later there will be another newcomer who will do better than me. There's work for everybody and I believe every actor gets what he/she deserves. Honestly, I just want to work as long as I can and do great films and act with every good actor around," added the actress.
Rakul is one of the busiest actresses down south and has not taken a single break for the last couple of years. Currently she is busy with the shooting of 'Pandaga Chesko' and 'Kick 2'. After wrapping them up, she will take up the projects of Ram Charan and Junior NTR. The actress says that she does not have even have time to take a deep breath, but she is thoroughly enjoying it.
"I recently returned to Mumbai from Switzerland after shooting for Kick 2 starring Ravi Teja. Even before the jet lag could wear off, I had three meetings back-to-back. I'm also shooting for Ram's Pandaga Chesko. I'll start shooting with Ram Charan next week and then will simultaneously start shooting with Jr. NTR in London next month," Rakul told TOI.
