If you are planning to watch something great on Netflix this weekend, and your Twitter is filled with several gifs and quotes about a teen romantic movie then you are in here for an amazing ride. Netflix's To All The Boys I've Loved Before is here to win your hearts and make you fall in love all over again.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before is based on a 2014 young adult romance novel of the same name by author Jenny Han. The film stars Lana Condor as Lara Jean Covey, a young girl living in the suburbs with her single dad, a younger sister and soon to be moving away elder sister. Ever since Lara was a child, she had this habit of outpouring her feelings towards her "crushes" in the form of letters.

Over the years, Lara is written five letters to her crushes but never had the stomach to post any of them. When her elder sister, Margot Covey (Janel Parrish), moves to Scotland, the youngest Covey (Anna Cathcart) posts all of them to the respective recipient. Lara's life takes a turn and what remains in the film is the sweet romantic journey for everyone.

Netflix released the new-age teen rom-com movie, To All The Boys I've Loved Before, on January 17, 2018. Soon after the release, everyone is going gaga over it. Several users are outpouring their love for it and even claiming it "the best rom-com of this generation." Check out few such tweets:

As of now, the movie holds a 93 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Many movie experts are even calling it the "best teen romance of the decade." So, what exactly happens in the movie which is making it so great?

The film's director, Susan Johnson, did not attempt to follow the path of other storytellers when it comes to presenting a teenage romantic film. Instead, she focused on creating something very simple, something which is relatable to all the ages. The day to day activities shown in the film and the conversations between the lead characters were brilliantly written and depicted the true nature of love and relationships. The film offers what other of the same genre failed to do in the recent years -- it addressed the issues of falling in love in the simplest way possible.

In several ways, the film feels like yet another rom-com of recent years but the film is sensitive to its core. At one particular sequence in the film, Lara watches Sixteen Candles on a date. In very subtle ways, To All The Boys I've Loved Before also deals in slut shaming, cyberbullying, and how a death of a parent is tackled by the youngsters.

In simple words, Netflix's To All The Boys I've Loved Before is a heartwarming movie addressing the challenges one always feel when they are approached by their first love. The coming-of-age film should be in your next queue.
