Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput welcomed their baby girl on Aug. 26, Friday. Wishes from celebrity friends and fans have been pouring in since.
The newest (and the most unexpected) one to jump on the bandwagon is Kareena Kapoor Khan. She apparently sent a text to Shahid congratulating the couple on their newborn baby, DNA reported.
Why is this surprising?
Shahid and Kareena didn't split amicably and have maintained their distance ever since they parted ways. Even at the "Udta Punjab" trailer launch, the stars didn't interact with each other much.

The actress closed the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/ Festive 2016 with a stunning walk in a Sabyasachi ensemble that complemented her baby bump. "It's going to be in the history. I am actually very emotional right now. It is a moment I want everyone to cherish," she said.
