While the world is celebrating the fact that Drake and Rihanna have finally come out with their relationship, one person isn't. Joanne the Scammer is terribly upset with the rapper, his relationship with Rihanna and the fact that she couldn't get a selfie with Drake during MTV VMAs.
Branden Miller, who plays the role of Joanne the Scammer, revealed that his website drakeandrihanna.com is a hoax after several of the celebrities' fans wondered what the website was all about.
While going on a rant, Miller said he created the fake website as revenge simply because he couldn't get a selfie with Drake. "I am very pissed off. Drake, you acted like you were not at the VMAs . . . Did you know I was there? . . . I've waited so long to take a f------ selfie with you, but you weren't there to take it. But you come out with Rihanna? This website is a hoax and now I can move on with my goddamn life," Miller said in a video on the website.
Earlier, drakeandrihanna.com went viral after many fans were intrigued by the countdown clock on the website's home page. The clock indicated that something would take place on Sept. 9, 2016. Fans likened this to the strategy used during the release of Drake and Future's mixtape.
Furthermore, the website included Drake's 6 God logo and many believed that drakeandrihanna.com was legitimate. Fans wondered if they would see another Drake and Rihanna collaboration. However, Miller revealed his prank only a few days after the VMAs.
According to TMZ, Miller spent around $3,000 on drakeandrihanna.com. He told the outlet that he's still angry with Drake and added that he might use the website to prank the rapper in the future.
