It's rare to see artists reunite after they have left their bands and the entertainment agencies. Recently, former EXO member Kris and former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung collaborated for a Chinese variety show.
In what can be described as a pleasant surprise for fans, Kris and Jessica teamed up and appeared on an episode of "Day Day Up" on China's Hunan TV.
According to reports, Kris a.k.a Wu Yi Fan and Jessica displayed their acting skills and re-enacted parts of popular drama shows. The former SNSD member even posted a selfie on her Weibo and captioned the picture: "I had so much fun today."
Needless to say, both artists trended on Weibo's real time search. According to Soompi, Jessica Jung and Kris were in the first and the fifth place on Weibo.
Admittedly, this has been a difficult year for the former SM Entertainment artists. Kris Wu and Jessica announced their departure from the entertainment agency in 2015. Since then, they have launched their solo careers, whilst sorting out legal problems with SM.
The reports suggest that Jessica is now working on her solo album. Meanwhile, Kris, 25, recently released his single, "Bad Girl", which has enabled him to stamp his identity and his musical prowess in the kpop scene again. The former EXO member is also involved in some big projects, which include nclude Guan Hu's action comedy film "Mr. Six", "L.O.R.D.: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties" and a romantic movie titled "Summer Tears in Paradise".
