The makers of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada had organised a press meet to talk about their forthcoming movie on Wednesday, November 9. While Gautham Menon, heroine Manjima Mohan and many others were part of the event, the lead actor of the flick, Silambarasan, failed to turn up, leading to a lot of speculation.
Rumours had started immediately doing rounds that all was not well between Simbu and the makers of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and particularly director Gautham Menon. It is well known that Silambarasan had issues with them during the final segment of shooting. Gautham Menon himself had admitted it.
Later, the issue was sorted out and Simbu completed the shooting of the movie. Hence, his absence from the press meet paved way for the latest rumours. Interestingly, Gautham Menon brushed off the questions related to the actor's decision to skip the event by citing that the actor had already spoken to a few media houses and was busy.
However, Simbu has now told a website that his health condition was not good to attend the press meet. He was happy and scared at the same time over the release of his latest movie Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. While the massive release of the Tamil flick has made him excited, the low money traction due to the central government's decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes is worrying him a bit as mass audience will not be prepared to watch films under these circumstances.
Meanwhile, the advance booking for Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada in Chennai and a few other centres have started and met with huge success. This is because the online booking requires people to pay either through plastic money or through mobile wallets.
