Tanishaa Mukherji, who rose to fame after participating in the controversial "Bigg Boss 7", was recently upset with some fashion organisers.
Mukherji was supposed to feature in designer Shalini Mehta's fashion show. However, the actress, who was the show-stopper for the event, decided to walk out of the show in the last minute.
"We had planned a few marketing programmes with Tanishaa and she had agreed to be the showstopper for Shalini. This was to be followed by a media interaction where she would have talked about the designer and her label. But, she suddenly made an exit looking upset," a source told Mid-Day.
The actress' sudden exit made the guests wonder as to what made her so upset that she chose to walk out of the show leaving the organisers in a troubled situation.
Reportedly, Mukherji, who recently broke up with boyfriend and "Bigg Boss 7" co-contestant Armaan Kohli, reached the venue on time but the make-up artist and hairdresser made her wait for about 90 minutes. The organisers' unprofessionalism seems to have irked the actress so much that she chose to take a quick exit from the show.
A source close to Mukherji confirmed the news, saying, "Tanishaa was made to wait for nearly 90 minutes. She was very patient with the entire team despite the chaos. However, the organisers did not live up to their word and due to their unprofessional attitude, Tanishaa decided to leave the venue. Shalini also apologised as the fault was from the organisers' side."
The designer, however, has made a contradictory statement. Shalini told that Mukherji was not feeling well and hence chose to take a quick exit from the event.
"Tanishaa was supposed to be my showstopper but she had to leave as she was feeling unwell." said the designer.
