"Bachelor" star Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules recently completed six months of being engaged, but Bischoff had to celebrate their anniversary alone, as her fiancé was away in Los Angeles.
Bischoff uploaded on her Instagram page a touching photo of Soules proposing to her with the caption, "#tbt can't believe this was almost 6 months ago...seems just like yesterday!" Soules, in the meantime, appeared to have forgotten their anniversary, as his Instagram post was dedicated to his "Dancing with the Stars" friends.
"Nastia, Noah, Riker, and Rumer - it has been great getting to know each one of you. Good luck with the rest of the competition, I'll be cheering for you! #dwts," his post read.
The farmer from Arlington, Iowa also attended a Los Angeles event where he revealed that he wouldn't be meeting his fiancée till the end of the month.
"Right now, we're in the middle of planting season, we should wrap up late May, and once I'm done with that… I'll spend plenty of time in Chicago," he told Us Weekly. "It's one of my favorite cities anyway. My sister lives out there so plenty of excuses to go to Chicago."
The star of season 19 of ABC's "The Bachelor" also noted that he was looking forward to spending more time with his fiancée, and said they were planning to expand their family, albeit with a dog.
"My goal is I'd love to get a German Shepherd or something like that or a rescue," he said, adding, "My children will have a dog, that's no question, and maybe a cat or two."
Although Soules spoke about his intention to settle down with Bischoff, rumours are rampant that there's trouble in paradise. Reportedly, Bischoff is eager to move away from all the media glare and settle down with Soules. But he is apparently having a tough time letting go of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
"Whitney thought being on The Bachelor was fun, because she had truly fallen in love with Chris. She wants to leave that behind, and focus on starting her life with Chris away from the glare of Hollywood in the Midwest. Chris just doesn't seem ready to give that up, however," a Radar Online source noted.
