In a recent press meet in Delhi, Aamir Khan says that he does not expect an invitation to attend Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan's wedding.
When Aamir was asked whether Salman has invited him to the wedding, the "Ghajini" actor candidly said that he does not require a formal invitation from the "Dabaang" star.
At the launch of a song from his upcoming movie "PK", Aamir was asked by enthusiastic journalists whether he was insecure on the rumours of Salman inviting Shah Rukh Khan before him. Aamir said that he considers Arpita as his own sister and that he does not want to be invited to the wedding.
"Card aye, na aye, mujhe koi fark nahin padhta (I don't care whether I get a card or not)," the Hindustan Times quoted Aamir as saying.
Arpita will marry Aayush Sharma on 18 November at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad and will be followed by a grand reception on 21 November in Mumbai.
Salman has booked the Falaknuma palace for two days and the palace's per day rent is said to be ₹1 crore. The wedding will be attended by who's who of the film industry, business honchos, sports personalities and politicians. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the big name on the guest list. Kareena Kapoor, Shah Rukh, Amitabh Bachchan and many popular public figures are expected to attend the grand function. Even some of the South film stars have also been invited.
Meanwhile, the bride's family is busy with the wedding preparations and are leaving no stone unturned to make the event a talk of the town.
