The casting process is in full swing for Ajith's next movie, which is presently titled as "Thala 56", and the makers are reportedly busy finding a suitable actress to play his sister's role in the flick.
According to recent reports, the makers have already offered the role to Vidyullekha Raman - who has done supporting roles previously. Her latest tweet is seen as an indication of it.
On her Twitter page, Vidyullekha Raman announced on Sunday, 29 March, that there is some good news for her fans and a big project is on her way. But she did not reveal any other detail, which have lead to a lot of speculations.
Vidyullekha Raman tweeted, "Eeeeee exciting news regarding big project soon.. Can't wait for May! Blessed." As she has mentioned "May" in her tweet, some feel she might be talking about Vikram and Gautham Menon's film. The actress has earlier worked in Ajith and Siruthai Siva's movie "Veeram".
On the other end, there are also rumours that Bindu Madhavi has been roped in to play Ajith's sister in "Thala 56". It has been reported that the character has a lot of importance in the storyline and this forced the makers to find a top actress for the role.
Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan - who has been dragged into a controversy by the PVP Cinemas - has been reportedly signed to play the female lead role in the forthcoming Tamil movie. "Thala 56" is produced by AM Rathnam and directed by Siruthai Siva. The movie will take off on 14 April and the details of cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
