Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen still seems to believe in marriage, despite three previous failed marriages, as he proposed to girlfriend Brett Rossi on Valentine's Day. They are officially engaged now, after he popped the question and she said "Yes."
While everybody knows everything about the 48-year-old actor, who has acted in several films and television serials, not many must have heard of his fiancee Rossi.
So who is Brett Rossi?
Rossi is a 24-year-old former porn star and model from California. A few months ago, she claimed that she was no longer an adult film star. She told Daily Mail, via Twitter, that she has been away from the industry for several months. It was also reported that she left the porn film industry to become a nurse. She has been very supportive of Sheen and had even surprised the "Anger Management" star during his appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno".
Rossi was visibly happy after Sheen proposed to her on Valentine's Day.
"Happy Valentine's day to the love of my life & my best friend! Everyday is Vday when I'm with you @charliesheen," she tweeted, along with a photo of them together. "Thank you everyone for all your well wishes and kind words."
Sheen, who spends $110,000 a month on the children from his previous marriages, told TMZ that he is open to having kids with Rossi though it has to wait. "I'm having way too much fun with her right now. So much fun it should be illegal," he said, adding that he would not demand a formal prenup.
Sheen has five children from his relationships with former high school girlfriend Paula Profit and three other marriages, which all ended in divorce.
He married Donna Peele, his first wife, in 1995 before divorcing her the next year. In 2002, he married actress Denise Richards with whom he has two daughters but the couple separated after three years of marriage. His married for the third time in 2008, tying the knot with Brooke Mueller with whom he has twin sons. However, their marriage lasted only for a couple of years.
The actor, who was dogged by reports of alcohol and drug abuses, have dated several women, besides the three failed marriages.
