Speculations and leaked snapshots along with videos of a white Nexus 4 variant has been making headlines in the technology world for the past few weeks. Now in a surprise turn of event, the variant is already released in India before making its way to the US and other key global markets.
LG today officially announced the launch of white Nexus 4 variant; during the event, Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company, said, "Nexus 4 White delivers the same Google experience to consumers in a stylish and attractive color option."
Indian online shops Saholic and Flipkart have already begun the sales of the White Nexus 4 on their website. There are also unconfirmed reports that some retail stores in India have also started selling the new Nexus 4 variant.
Both the online shops are selling the white Nexus 4 at ₹25,990, the same price as that of the black variant. The new colour model will pack the same hardware specifications - 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor running on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS with 2GB RAM and16GB internal memory and also an 8.0-megapixel camera and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front.
The South korean company has confirmed that the Nexus 4 White variant will hit Hong Kong market on 29 May and later in other select markets of Asia, North America, Europe, Middle East over next several weeks.
