Wonder Woman will release this week but the movie has already received thumbs up from fans and critics likewise. The Gal Gadot starrer has an impressive 94 percent ratings on Rotten Tomatoes and has been certified fresh by the website.
The overwhelming response by the industry towards the Israeli actress and Wonder Woman has made Israel proud. She joins supermodel Bar Rafaeli and Man of Steel actress Ayelet Zurer to represent Israel internationally.

The nation has been raving about the achievement of the actress and they are unable to contain their excitement about the movie. The Israeli media has been all-praise for Gadot as she shines as the brightest superhero of recent times.
Featuring in the best DCEU movie, according to several reviewers, Gal Uchovsky, a columnist for the Israeli news site Mako, said everyone in Israel is excited. "With all due respect to Bar Refaeli, no one has reached [Gadot's] level on the world stage. Not to mention, she can act. She's bringing us lots of 'Nachat (pride and joy). People here are really excited," he wrote, according to Comicbook.com.
Showing their support to the DC movie, Azrieli Towers - the country's tallest skyscrapers, lit up with the phrases "We are proud of you, Gal Gadot" and "Our Wonder Woman." "That's never been done before. Israel's love affair with Gal Gadot is reaching fever pitch right now," Amit Cotler, a reporter for Ynet, Israel's leading news site, told The Wrap.

For those unaware, Gadot won the Miss Israel pageant in 2004 before she served two years in the Israel Defense Forces as a physical trainer.
Meanwhile, her nationality led to the ban of movie in Lebanon.
Given that Lebanon is at war with Israel and the actress is an Israeli, the Ministry of Economy has issued a ban on Wonder Woman, The Guardian reported. Despite the movie having passed the country's screening norms, the Campaign to Boycott Supporters of Israel-Lebanon group put pressure on the government and blocked the screening.
The ban came a few hours ahead of the scheduled premiere in the country. The distributors had held the film's screening in 15 theatres all over.
Wonder Woman release on June 2 in the world over.
