B-town superstars Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, who are riding high on their respective career graphs, will reportedly clash at the box office next Christmas.
Buzz is that Kapoor's "Tamasha" and Singh's "Bajirao Mastani" will release during Christmas 2015, reported Mid Day.
"Tamasha" producer Sajid Nadiadwala has blocked the 2015 festive season for the Kapoor starrer, which will be pitted against Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" starring Singh.
Not only will the two actors battle at the box office, Deepika Padukone too will be making headlines with the two films that feature her as the lead actress.
With the two big films clashing at the box office, it would also be interesting to find out which of the real life couples -- ex-flames Kapoor-Padukone or current lovebirds Singh-Padukone -- rule the box office.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said: "There is still a lot of time for the dates to be changed but I feel two big films releasing on the same day, whether it is on a festival or an ordinary day, is not a good trend. The business and audience of both films get divided."
"Tamasha" directed by Imtiaz Ali will bring the sizzling Kapoor-Padukone pair back on screen for the second time after their much publicized break up. Back in 2013, they starred in the blockbuster movie "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani."
"Tamasha" will mark "Barfi" actor's second movie with Ali, after the success of blockbuster film "Rockstar", while, Padukone is teaming up with the director for the third time after "Love Aaj Kal" (2009) and "Cocktail"(2012).
On the other hand, "Bajirao Mastani" is period-drama and apart from Singh and the "Happy New Year" actress, the film also stars Priyanka Chopra in supporting role.
The film will be Padukone and Singh second outing after they charmed the audience in Bhansali's "Ram-Leela" (2013).
