"Rosewood" returns on Fox with the fifth episode this Wednesday, 21 October, at 8 pm. The sequel, titled "Necrosis and New Beginnings", will mainly focus on Dr Beaumont Rosewood's (Morris Chestnut) relationship with detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and Kat Crawford (Nicole Ari Parker).

The description of the episode teases tension between the private pathologist and his girlfriend as it states that the two will have to deal with an unexpected turn in their relationship.

Meanwhile, the promotional photos indicate that the protagonist's relationship with the detective will take a turn for the worst, but the trailer features an intimate sequence between the two. So, it remains to be seen if the female lead is gradually developing some feelings for the title character.

Apart from the love triangle between Rosewood, Villa and Kat, the episode will also feature a mysterious murder case. The official synopsis of the sequel read: "The private pathologist and the detective make it their mission to seek justice for a murder victim who is an ex-con with ties to a Little Haiti gang."

Howard as Thalia Stavros, Manuel Eduardo Ramirez as Patrol Officer, Anita Vogel as Reporter, David A. Kimball as David Moran.
