Avengers: Infinity Wars created box-office history by earning more than a $2 billion at the box-office. The ending of the superhero film and the post-credits made many to speculate about the future of the upcoming Avengers 4. As of now, the cast and crew of Avengers 4 have geared up as the reshoots of the film are set to begin. Mark Ruffalo recently talked about the Avengers 4 reshoots and how this time they are finally going to finish the production of the upcoming film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner/Hulk in the MCU films, recently talked about Avengers 4 on an episode of The Marvelists podcast. In an hour-long interview, as reported by comicbook.com, he talked about his work as Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ruffalo stated that the cast of Avengers 4 is beginning the reshoots in September. He also revealed at one point that the work they all are about to do amount to much more than simply start from where they left off.

"Well we're doing reshoots starting in September," Ruffalo said. "And then we'll go back into the international tour, we'll go on tour. Then you guys will get the second installment. Which we don't even know what it's gonna be yet. We're not just doing reshoots, we're going to finish the movie, which we really didn't get to finish totally when we left it last year."

So, why there are reshoots in the first place? Well, the principal photography of Avengers 4 wrapped up in January, almost a year before its scheduled release. The directors of the film also celebrated the wrapping by sharing a stunning wrap cake that featured Thanos. Avengers: Infinity Wars and Avengers 4 were shot back-to-back and this gave Marvel an advantage over the second part. The Russo brothers revealed that the additional photography will take place all over fall and winter and even franchise' producer, Kevin Feige, suggested that the extra time available to them may lead to the film changing shape a little.

"We try – what's the analogy, that a goldfish will grow to the size of the bowl? Ant-Man and the Wasp had a very little post and yet we made a lot of strides in the post, and we did a lot of very good maneuvering on it with the limited time we had. Avengers 4 has much more time; Ragnarok had much more time and we did a lot. You always fill the time you have. Either you have a lot of time and it really motivates you to think things through, or you have no time, and it really motivates you to think things through," Feige said to Birth.Movies.Death in July.

"Some of it is happening while we're there. It's pretty amazing. And we'll shoot some stuff and a few days later come back and reshoot it cause we wanna take it in another direction. It's a very living organism, even as we approach it being a locked picture, we're still working on it."

Avengers 4 is set to release worldwide on May 3, 2019, and fans are hoping to see Mark Ruffalo's Hulk finally coming out in this part.
