Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Mi 5 smartphones will be up for grabs once again during their next flash sale, which is set to kick off on May 18. The upcoming sale does not require buyers to register in order to participate in the flash sale, but simply go to Mi.com/in next Wednesday and place the order.
The Redmi Note 3 and Mi 5 flash sale will begin at 2 p.m. on May 18 and run until the stocks last. Interested buyers must be quick in placing their orders before the sale ends. Unlike previous flash sales, Xiaomi is no longer selling the 20,000 Mi Power Bank alongside the Mi 5 and the Redmi Note 3. The power bank is now listed under Mi Power Bank category on the site.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will be available in two variants, 2GB+16GB and 3GB+32GB, with a choice of three colours, silver, dark grey and gold. The entry-level model is priced at Rs. 9,999 and the higher-end variant costs Rs. 11,999, which is quite reasonable considering its impressive spec-sheet.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch full HD display, a 16MP primary camera with PDAF, dual LED flash and a 5MP front snapper. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset and a 4,050mAh battery. The handset boasts a fingerprint sensor, metallic finish unibody, 4G LTE, VoLTE and dual SIM support.
Xiaomi's flagship Mi 5 smartphone will also be available next Wednesday at the same price, Rs. 24,999. The handset offers a 5.15-inch full HD display, 16MP rear-facing camera with PDAF, OIS, dual LED flash and a 2µm (micro-meter) pixel-based 4MP front snapper. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, 3GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB storage. There's also a 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
The Mi 5 earns its flagship title with additional features such as a USB Type-C port, refreshing design, fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 4G LTE and VoLTE support. Buyers of the Mi 5 currently have the option to pick the white colour.
