Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput landed in trouble with the police recently when she was out to have some fun without her husband.

According to a report, Mira had parked her car in the no parking zone and hence was fined by the Mumbai traffic police. However, unlike other stars or star-wives who don't pay heed to such rules, Mira proved herself to be a true law-abiding citizen.
A police officer told the Times of India: "Usually in matters like these stars/star wives argue to let go of the fine, but Mira was very polite and didn't hesitate to pay. The car driver has also been fined for jumping the signal in the past."
A few months ago, Mira faced heavy criticism for her views on feminism and homemakers and was said to have put down women who chose to have a career. The star wife's choice of words and her views didn't go down well with many when she said she wanted to stay at home for her daughter Misha. The child was not a puppy, she said, that she could just spend one hour in a day with, and rush to work.
While many believed that Mira's statement sent out a wrong message about working mothers, there were a few who thought she took a sly dig at Shahid's ex-girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has been giving equal importance to her baby boy Taimur Ali Khan and her acting career.
In other news, Shahid will be seen next in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati along with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The shooting of the period drama is in full swing.
