Hrithik Roshan was apparently about to lose a brand endorsement deal to Shah Rukh Khan. It has been reported that a deodorant brand was keen to get Shah Rukh on board, but time constraints prevented him and Hrithik bagged the offer instead.
"Talks were on with stars at a given point of time. The brand was actually more keen to sign on SRK since he already endorses one product of this brand, but eventually Hrithik came on board," SpotboyE quoted a source as saying.
The report also hinted that Hrithik reduced his standard market price to grab the deal. Hrithik has recently wrapped up shooting of "Mohenjo Daro" and is currently busy with his other upcoming movie, "Kaabil." While Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro" is a historical drama, "Kaabil" will present Hrithik as a blind man. The film also brings the fresh pairing of Hrithik and Yami Gautam.
On the other side, Shah Rukh, who was last seen in "Fan," will next appear on screen with the movie "Raees." Directed by Rahul Dholakia, "Raees" was supposed to be released on Eid this year, but it has been postponed to January 2017, apparently to avoid a box office clash with Salman Khan's "Sultan." "Raees" also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and marks the debut of Mahira Khan.
It has been quite long since Hrithik appeared on screen. His last movie was "Bang Bang" that had released in 2014. Now fans are eagerly waiting for Hrithik's upcoming movies.
