Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who met the "Kapoor and Sons" team March 9, wished them on social media. Despite being busy, the Baadshah of Bollywood took some time off and visited Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra at a studio in Mumbai.
"Was so refreshing & lovely to see these 3 tonight. Wish the best for Kapoor & sons & may u always be happy," Shah Rukh tweeted. The sweet gesture by King Khan touched the trio's hearts and they thanked the superstar on Twitter.
"Thank you sir ! N thank u for a engaging amusing chat eager to show u the film," Sidharth tweeted, while Fawad wrote: "@iamsrk Thank u so much for your wishes...all the best for Fan and Raees." Alia, who will share screen space with SRK in Gauri Shinde's film, tweeted: "Haha thank youuuuu!!!! Soo nice it was seeing you.. Charged us all up !!! big big hug..."
Gauri's upcoming film will bring SRK and Alia together on-screen for the first time and the duo will have a few romantic sequences as well. In fact, SRK and Alia completed the first schedule of the film in Goa last month and a few pictures of them on a ferry went viral. The images show the duo prepping for their shot.
In Dharma Productions' "Kapoor and Sons," Alia plays the character of Tia and according to the trailer, she will be seen as the love interest of both the brothers (played by Sidharth and Fawad). Directed by Shakun Batra, the film is a Punjabi family drama that also stars Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles.
"Kapoor and Sons" brings Alia and Sidharth on the big screen for the second time after "Student of the Year." Scheduled to be released March 18, fans will see a fresh chemistry between Alia and Fawad.
