Salman Khan, who walked out of Karan Johar's upcoming film "Shuddhi", reportedly begged the filmmaker to take him back in the project, apparently just to tease him on a TV reality show.
Salman Khan has been roped in as one of the judges in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded", in which Karan Johar also appears as a judge. While promoting his upcoming production venture "Hero" on the sets of the dance reality show, the superstar apparently teased Johar jokingly by asking for the role in "Shuddhi", The Times of India reported.
As per the report, Johar's facial expressions remained more or less unchanged as he looked least amused by the joke. "Shuddhi" was in news recently for the uncertainty over the film's casting.
Although it was almost certain that Salman would feature in "Shuddhi", the sudden announcement of the superstar backing out from the project had led to many speculations. Earlier, during the trailer launch of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", Salman had made a witty remark, saying, "I was thrown out of 'Shuddhi'."
Initially, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were supposed to be finalised for the film but they reportedly backed out. Then Salman Khan's name popped up for the lead role, but he also walked out. Eventually Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were finalised for the roles.
