Mohanlal had played the role of a visually challenged person in crime thriller Oppam. The actor, who handled the role quite convincingly in the Priyadarshan-directorial, recently met two visually impaired kids on the sets of his upcoming movie.
The emotional video of the superstar's short meeting with the kids has surfaced online. While one of them is shy, the other one kisses the superstar after their mother asks "Didn't you say that you want to kiss him on forehead? What happened now?" The gesture of the kid left Mohanlal, who also kissed the boy, speechless.
Earlier, 150 visually challenged kids from three institutions in Perinthalmanna, Mankada and Kottappuram in Kerala had attended a special screening of Oppam. The programme was organised by We One Charitable Society and Mohanlal Fans Association in Perinthalmanna.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is currently basking in the success of his movies Oppam and Pulimurugan, which have been garnering tremendous response from the audience. While the Vysakh directed action thriller Pulimurugan is said to have earned Rs 40 crore within 14 days of its theatrical run in Kerala, the crime thriller Oppam is believed to have made a collection of Rs 38 crore after running successfully for 43 days in Kerala. The movies are set to become the highest grossers of the superstar's acting career spanning 36 years.

The actor will be next seen in Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol (also spelled Munthiri Vallikal Thalirkkumbol), which is the directorial venture of Jibu Jacob. The family entertainer stars Meena, Aima Rosmy Sebastian, Sanoop Santhosh, Neha Saxena, Anoop Menon, Kalabhavan Shajon in significant roles.
The movie's producer Sophia Paul has postponed its release date from November 4 to December 22 respecting Antony Perumbavoor and Tomichan Mulakupaadam, who have bankrolled Oppam and Pulimurugan, respectively.
