Looks like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has still not forgotten her past differences with Salman Khan. The 41-year-old actress was apparently miffed when she saw the name 'Salman' in the list of stars receiving awards.
Aishwarya Rai attended the Asiavision Movie Awards 2014, which was held in Dubai last month. But just before her appearance she almost cancelled her trip to Dubai, Emirates 24/7 reported.
According to the daily, the actress was not very happy when she saw the name 'Salman' in the list of award recipients. However, the actor mentioned in the list was not Salman Khan, but in fact was Malayalam film industry's new sensation Dulquer Salman.
Aishwarya was not pleased with the organisers as they used only Salman and not his full name. "Ash was not particularly pleased about the name 'Salman' figuring on the awards list and wanted to know why 'Dulquer' was not used," Emirates 24/7 quoted sources close to the Asiavision award event as saying.
"She was quite worried and angry after seeing the name Salman in the star list attending the Asiavision Movie Awards. Only after coming on stage did she realise that the Salman that attended the Asiavision Movie Awards is Dulquer Salman and not Salman Khan," the sources added.
It appears that Aishwarya and Salman are in no mood to bury to hatchet and become friends again. Salman shares a good rapport with all his other ex-girlfriends except Aishwarya Rai.
Salman and Aishwarya dated for four years before calling it quits in 2002. And after their breakup, the two have avoided each other at public events. Even though Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have shared the stage with Salman, Aishwarya always maintains a safe distance from the actor.
