Shakti Arora has been on a roll. Thanks to the role of Ranveer in "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" that helped him be on top of his game. But not many know it did not come easy for the TV actor.
In a video shared on social media, Shakti shares how he worked for a call centre, ran an STD booth and was told he would never crack an ad deal.
He didn't have any industry contacts and so cracking auditions became an uphill task. Despite being demoralised, he went ahead and gave over 250 auditions but was selected in none.
Before he was taken for "MATSH", Shakti signed up for supporting roles in some hit TV shows which put him in the limelight.
Also, he spoke at length about fiancée Neha Saxena, who became an important part of his life right from the first soap they worked together in. They shared a great rapport but it was only after a long time that the couple realised there was something special between them.
The actor's mother said the two are engaged but marriage will take place when Shakti has some time in hand.
Talking about his favourite actress Alia Bhatt he said how he enjoyed her performances in "Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania" and "Highway".
