Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, who is making his Tamil debut with "Brahmotsavam", has surprised his co-star by speaking fluently in Tamil, and this news was revealed by actor Harish Uthaman.
Harish Uthaman narrated the interesting story, when he was stunned to hear Mahesh Babu speak fluently in Tamil. On the first day of the shooting of their upcoming movie "Srimanthudu", the Telugu superstar spoke to him in Tamil, which left him astonished.
"It was my first day on the set. We were going to shoot an action sequence. I met Mahesh and we exchanged pleasantries. After the shot, Mahesh sat near the monitor and I joined him. Suddenly he started talking in Tamil, and I was totally awestruck," Indiaglitz quoted Harish as saying.
Curious about Mahesh Babu's fluency in Tamil, he asked the "Pokiri" actor how he was able to speak Tamil so well, to which Mahesh Babu said that he learnt the language when he was studying in a Chennai college.
Speaking about his experience of working with the Telugu actor, Harish Uthaman said Mahesh Babu is a friendly co-star, who is very helpful actor. "Since I had a language barrier, there were a few shots that required multiple takes. He asked me not to worry and said that he's even willing to give 50 takes, if required. He's very considerate."
