The team of Star Plus' "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is having a tough time shooting the on-going hijacking sequence in the scorching summer. While the rest of the cast and crew members are putting their best foot forward and continuing with the shoot, Karan Patel aka Raman reportedly left the sets recently after complaining about the unbearable heat.
"Karan lost his cool and just gave a few close-ups. He said he couldn't shoot as it was extremely hot inside the flight. He should have realised that we are also shooting under the same circumstances. We have no option, but he can get away with it as he is a star. Finally, we completed the shoot with his dupe," the source told SpotboyE.
Apparently, this is not the first time Karan has left the shoot mid-way. "Karan doses off in his vanity van whenever he feels like and in order to not waste time, we shoot sequences with Divyanka Tripathi (she plays female protagonist Ishita). But of late, even Divyanka has started refusing, saying she cannot be constantly filling up for him," the source added.
According to a report in Bollywood Life, besides the unbearable heat, Karan was unwell and had to repeatedly take breaks between shoots to rest in his vanity van. Unable to continue shooting because of the illness, Karan's wife Ankita Karan Patel later arrived on the sets and took him back home.
Meanwhile it had been reported that in the upcoming episodes of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," Raman and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) will be seen getting stuck in a hijacked flight. The flight will be travelling from Australia to Mumbai when a co-passenger plans to hijack and divert the flight to Delhi. Amid the tense situation, Ishita will get shot by the hijacker and Raman will apparently try saving her by taking her to the hospital. Surprisingly, despite the situation, the report said that Raman will not be able to see Ishita.
