Actress Kangana Ranaut, who looked regal as Queen of Jhansi, touched the feet of Baahubali writer K Vijayendra Prasad and took his blessings at the trailer launch of Manikarnika held on December 18.
Hailing from non-filmy background, Kangana Ranaut has gone on to become one of the popular Bollywood actresses. But she has set herself different from all other actresses in the film industry. She has made an image for herself in B-Town with her out-spoken, straight forward and rebellious nature. But this nature of hers has landed her in controversies in the past.
Little is known about her humble nature, but Kangana Ranaut surprised everyone, by displaying that side of hers at the launch of Manikarnika trailer. As a mark of respect, the actress bent down and touched the feet of Baahubali scriptwriter Vijayendra Prasad, who has penned the story for her upcoming movie. He held her head with affection and blessed her.
This nature of Kangana Ranaut has come as a big surprise for many film goers, who are busy praising her and circulating the photos and videos on social media. Manikarnika is a historical biographical film, which is based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and her war against the British East India Company, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Kangana Ranaut is playing the title role in the movie. Its trailer has struck a chord with the film goers and doubled the curiosity and expectations about the movie, which is set for worldwide release on 25 January 2019.
Manikarnika is set to be the first blockbuster of the year 2019.
