Rajinikanth has personally known Hrithik Roshan for decades. Their association dates back to 1986 when they worked together in Hindi movie Bhagwaan Dada, which was produced by Rakesh Roshan.
Hrithik Roshan was 12 years old when he worked with Rajinikanth and since then, the Roshan family has maintained good relations with the Tamil superstar. Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan has now revealed that he made it a practise to call Rajini on December 12 to wish the superstar on his birthday.
Like every year, Rakesh Roshan called Rajinikanth this year and it has been reported that the Tamil actor had good words for Hrithik's forthcoming movie Kaabil.
"I have watched the Tamil, Hindi and Telugu trailers of Kaabil and I simply loved it. I also think Hrithik is stupendous. Please tell him that I am eagerly awaiting the film," DNA quoted Rajinikanth as saying during the conversation.
The compliment took Rakesh Roshan by surprise so as his son Hrithik Roshan. They are reportedly happy to hear those words from a superstar of Rajinikanth's calibre.
Kaabil is a romantic action thriller written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. Yami Gautam plays the female lead in the flick, which will release worldwide on January 26. The movie is also being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu as Balam.
Rajinikanth busy with 2.0
Rajinikanth, whose Kabali was one of the big hits of Kollywood box office in 2016, is currently working on his much-hyped 2.0 aka Enthiran 2. The movie directed by Shankar is nearing completion. After this movie, Rajini will take up Pa Ranjith's flick to be produced by his son-in-law and actor Dhanush under the banner of WunderBar Films.
