International singer Justin Bieber arrived in Mumbai in the wee hours of Wednesday (May 10) for his concert in the country and die-hard fans couldn't contain their excitement. Thousands of people thronged to the airport to get a glimpse of the global icon.

However, hours before Bieber's arrival, the crowd went into a tizzy after spotting a convoy of cars coming out of the exit gate. But it turned out to be Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar returning from New Delhi after meeting PM Narendra Modi. The crowd gathered there were thrilled to get a glimpse of Akhay as well.
Bieber finally landed a few hours later at the Mumbai airport and was received by Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera.
The singer will be taking the stage in the evening for the much-awaited concert, which will be held at the DY Patil Stadium. Millions of from across the country and its neighbouring countries, including Nepal, have flown down for the concert.
In other news, Akshay's Delhi visit, he had posted an image with PM, where he captioned it saying, "Met PM Narendra Modi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha'. His smile at just the title made my day." Akshay's upcoming film is said to be a love story based against the backdrop of PM Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
