Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin, who is busy with the India-Australia series, has revealed that he is a big fan of Trisha Krishnan and has opened up on an interesting show of fondness for the actress.
Ashwin, who was a special guest on a Tamil television show, said he had started a fans club for Trisha when he was in the 8th standard. He had fallen in love with her after watching the actress in the Tamil film "Lesa Lesa", directed by Priyadarshan.
He. with a bunch of his close friends, started the fan club and used to collect her photographs. But Ashwin humorously revealed they did not know associations should be registered with local authorities to get recognition.
On the same show, Ashwin opened up on his interest in and love for Tamil films. He claimed he likes comedy films and takes out time to watch new Kollywood movies. The cricketer is a big fan of superstar Rajinikanth.
Trisha joins the shoot of Dhanush's Kodi
Meanwhile, Trisha Krishnan has joined the shooting of her much-hyped film "Kodi", starring Dhanush. This is her first movie with the "Kolaveri Di" star. She was supposed to work with him earlier in the National Award winning film "Aadukalam", but could not take up the project due to other commitments.
After much delay, Trisha and Dhanush are teaming up in the political thriller written and directed by Durai Senthilkumar. Shamili, the sister-in-law of Thala Ajith, plays the second female lead in the Tamil film, which also has Illayathalapathy Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar in a key role.
