Xiaomi fans waiting for the Mi 5 Gold Edition will be able to grab it next week. The gold colour version will be available almost two months after it was released in its home country China.
The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that the Xiaomi Mi 5 Gold Edition will go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 29, according to GizmoChina. It will come in standard and high versions with 3D glass.
The standard variant of the Xiaomi Mi 5 Gold Edition will sport a 5.15-inch full HD screen with 1,920x1,080 pixel (428 ppi pixel density), measure a 144.6x69.2x7.3 mm in dimension and feature fingerprint sensor. It is priced at 1999 Yuan (around $308).
Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocking at 1.8GHz, an Adreno 530 GPU, and an Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI v7.0. It comes packed with a 32GB internal storage, a 3GB RAM, a 6MP Sony IMX298 main camera, a 4MP front-snapper with 2µm pixel size and a 3,000mAh with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
On the other hand, the high version of the Xiaomi Mi 5 Gold Edition will come with a price tag of 2299 Yuan (around $354). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocking at 2.15GHz, houses Adreno 510 GPU, and comes packed with a 64GB internal memory. It shares the rest of the features with the standard version.
Both the standard and high versions of the Xiaomi Mi 5 Gold Edition will be available for purchase via flash sale.
