Anushka Shetty has apparently become choosy after being part of the Baahubali (Bahubali) series. The actress is reportedly taking a lot of factors into considerations before giving a green signal for a flick.
Filmmakers are forming a beeline to get her dates for their movies. However, Anushka Shetty has rejected many of those projects, upfront. Now it has come to light that she has also turned down the offer to star in the remake of Bollywood hit movie, Queen.
A report in Deccan Chronicle has claimed that Anushka Shetty was approached to play the Kangana Ranaut's role in the Telugu remake of Queen. She was not the first choice of the makers and was offered the flick only after Tamannaah Bhatia refused to star in the comedy-drama citing some reasons.
Having been part of many female-centric projects, it would have been a cake walk for Anushka Shetty to enact a role such as in Queen. But the actress was concerned about the comparison that might arise between her and Kangana Ranaut's performances in future. Hence, she rejected the flick, the report added.
Meanwhile, Kajal Aggarwal has been approached and she has given her nod to star in the remake flick. Queen is currently being made in Kannada titled as Butterfly starring Parul Yadav and also in Malayalam in which Amala Paul plays the female lead. Amy Jackson will be seen in an important role in all the three South Indian versions where she is stepping into the shoes of Lisa Haydon.
Coming back to Anushka Shetty, the actress, who is basking in the success of Baahubali 2, will be moving on to her next flick, Bhagmati, soon.
