Multiple reports are blaming singer Taylor Swift for the absence of Australian model Jessica Hart in this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Shown in London.
Swift reportedly requested that Hart be prevented from walking the ramp this time around, and the singer is believed to have said that she would perform only if her request was accepted.
"It's not been announced that Jessica is not walking, but it was a direct request from Taylor that this be the case if she were to go," an insider told NY Daily News. "No one can know that Taylor requested Ms. Hart not be in the show. They want to keep that under wraps, but that's the facts."
So what exactly is Swift's beef with Hart? Tension between the two cropped up last year after Hart made an off-hand comment when asked about Swift being a Victoria's Secret model.
"I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she's great," Hart told Women's Wear Daily. "But, I don't know, to me, she didn't fit."
"I don't know if I should say that," she continued. "I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs."
Although an executive with the brand stated at the time that Hart's comments haven't affected her relationship with Victoria's Secret, the international model missed out a place on Tuesday's fashion event, which featured performances by Swift, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran.
The show was a huge success, and Swift donned two lingerie looks -- a lacy black attire and a pink one -- as she stormed the runway at Earls Court for the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
For the first time ever, the fashion show featured two Fantasy Bras — worth $2 million a piece -- and the creations were flaunted by Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima. The models walked the ramp together wearing the embellished bras as Ed Sheeran performed.
The fashion event will be aired on Tuesday, 9 December on CBS.
