If there's one person fans dearly miss while watching South Korean reality TV show "Unnies Slam Dunk," it is Girls' Generation member Tiffany. The SM Entertainment artiste's frequent absence from the TV show led to many complaints from fans. However, the "Lion Heart" singer finally appeared on the "Unnies Slam Dunk's" latest episode and revealed why she wasn't present on the TV series for a while.
According to Tiffany, aka Stephanie Hwang, her hectic schedule did not permit her from taking part in the show. The singer added that her solo debut and the promotions kept her quite busy and as a result, she couldn't keep her other commitments.
The Girls' Generation member released her solo EP "I Just Wanna Dance" in May 2016. Since then, the 26-year-old singer has been promoting her debut album. Earlier, Tiffany even appeared on SNL Korea as part of her promotional activities. Tiffany took on the role of a crazy, American girlfriend who embarrasses her boyfriend at his parent's house.
In Tiffany's words, the experience was enriching in many ways. She told Straits Times, "I've been wanting to act for a really long time. I was glad that I could plug that into it because no one has seen me act yet."
The "Lion Heart" singer added that she has taken time off since her solo album's release and is now focused on doing activities for leisure. "I'm taking a lot more time for myself, like travelling for leisure. Because of that I'm in such a good mood. I'm enjoying life these days," Tiffany said.
This was evident when she appeared on "Unnies Slam Dunk" as well. The singer informed the rest of the cast members that her schedule will now revolve around the TV show because Girls' Generation doesn't have plans for a comeback anytime soon.
