There were rumours of Katrina Kaif being finalised for Aanand L Rai's two-heroine project, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan. Her late-night visit to the actor's house seems to make things official. However, it's too soon to assume.
According to a SpotboyE report, Katrina's meeting with SRK, which was also attended by the superstar's manager, went on till 4 in the morning. And going by industry chatter, this sudden catch-up could very well have something to do with their next film together.
However, the director had said he would make an official announcement soon, adding that people will be surprised what he has in mind regarding the star cast. "Yes, it's a two-heroine film and there are actors in my mind. But it's a little too early to talk about it right now. I am sure people will be surprised with what I'm coming up with in a month's time," Aanand told DNA.
Meanwhile, a source informed the daily that either Sonam Kapoor or Alia Bhatt could share screen space with SRK in the film. But the possibility of them coming on board is bleak because Sonam, after the success of "Neerja," wouldn't want to do a multi-actress film. And Alia would have already done a film with the 50-year-old (Gauri Shinde's untitled next, which will reportedly open in theatres on Sept. 30).
In Aanand's film, Shah Rukh will be seen essaying the role of a "little person," a dwarf. Because it needs to be done with the help of VFX, the team is taking time to chalk out the nitty-gritty of pre-production work.
