Are you getting the best out of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain? Yeah, we thought so. If you are deep into the game, you should know by now that the game's online segment offers a number of modes for you and your team. And one such feature is the "Buddy Link" that's becoming more and more popular.
When you are up with your team mates, check them out inside the match to locate a particular stick figure icon – this is to show your buddy.
When in the game, hold down R3 and salute them. This will make the circle around the icon and will build over time. Players can also fill this up just by hanging around their friends as they go through the match.
Once the meter goes full, it will allow you to see what they're looking at, and get the option to spawn next to the buddy if you die. You can also teleport to their location through a wormhole that can generate over time.
If you are not getting the buddy you want, you can again hold R3 next to someone else and cheat on your new friend.
