Priyanka Chopra's engagement party on Saturday witnessed the presence of many Bollywood stars like Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt, VJ Anusha and Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma among others. Although the stars seemed in a jovial mood during the event, Alia was, however, seen teary-eyed just before entering the venue.
A video has surfaced across social media that shows Alia in her car approaching the party venue. She was surrounded by a group of shutterbugs trying to click her pictures.
While celebrities facing such situations is a common thing, what was unusual is that Alia seemed to be having an emotional breakdown. At one moment she is clearly seen wiping her tears while requesting the crowd to move aside.
What made Alia cry before being part of a happy event like Priyanka's engagement bash? Was Alia missing her rumoured beau Ranbir Kapoor? Or was she just too overwhelmed by PeeCee's happiness? Well, only Alia can reveal the mystery.
There were rumours that Alia and Ranbir are also going to tie the knot soon. However, the actress had neither confirmed nor denied the buzz and just chose not to react to it.
"Rumours are not meant to be reacted upon. As long as you aren't entering my bathroom, I am fine because if you are not talking about me then maybe I am not relevant enough. But honestly, I am in a very good place both personally and professionally so no issues whatsoever," Alia was quoted as saying by Press Trust of India.
