Lee Min Ho is making a comeback to television with South Korean drama series The Legend of the Blue Sea opposite Jun Ji Hyun and he is all excited for it. Min Ho will be seen on television after a gap of three years.
When asked about his comeback role, he said, "I'm nervous and excited to see how everyone will respond to it. I get to act out two roles on The Legend of the Blue Sea, including one as a conman. So, I'll be able to show many diverse sides to me. Please look forward to seeing them."
The Legend of the Blue Sea is a fantasy drama starring Min Ho in a double role and Ji Hyun as a mermaid. The story of the fantasy drama revolves around Ji Hyun, a mermaid who is released by a county judge into the sea. Keeping the theme and the storyline in mind, the makers had shot for the drama at exotic coasts, including Goesan and North Chungcheong Province in South Korea, the island of Palau and Spain.
The first teaser of the fantasy drama series was released on Wednesday and has received rave reviews from the audiences. The 22-second teaser starts with Lee Min Ho sitting on the beach. The teaser, which does not reveal much about the story of the fantasy drama, also gives a sneak peek of Ji Hyun's look as a mermaid.
"I'm still going to keep my promise. Even if a storm comes, or there's no one there so it feels lonely, or I feel afraid because it's a path I've never walked on. I'm going to persevere and go to you," Ji Hyun is seen saying in the video, according to Soompi.
