"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Ishita Bhalla aka Divyanka Tripathi is busy these days, but not with the shooting of the show.
Divyanka is busy preparing for iftaar for the cast and crew of her show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".
"I do it for the love of the show's unit and self satisfaction. I belong to Bhopal, which is part Muslim and part Hindu. It's called the 'Ganga-Jamuni' culture. Since I've had many Muslim friends, I understand the rituals well," Divyanka told The Times of India.
Earlier, the makers of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" had arranged an iftaar party for the team members.
"The production house halts the shoot for 30 minutes in the evening so that everyone can enjoy their iftaar. Interestingly without any barrier, the actors and crew get together and relish the food," a source told Tellychakkar.
Shireen Mirza, who plays the role of Simi in the show, said, "Yesterday our crew organised an iftaar party and me and Aly (Goni) also participated in the same."
Apparently, Karan Patel aka Raman Bhalla of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" used to feed Shireen and Aly Goni, who plays the role of his younger brother, to break their fast during Ramzan.
"Karan (Patel) feeds me and Aly with his own hand to break our fast and Divyanka (Tripathi) helps in preparing the plates. It is a month long celebration for us and the actors sometimes take turns to get some goodies for the team. Since my birthday also falls during this time, I am planning a special dinner for everyone," Shireen added.
