Nina Dobrev is currently single after splitting up with her Austin Stowell, who reportedly has a new lady love, his "Battle of the Sexes" co-star Emma Stone. This could be causing Dobrev unbearable heartbreak, according to a new Celeb Dirty Laundry report.
Stone is a definite "step-up" from Dobrev as she has acted in a number of Hollywood blockbusters, including "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and "The Help," reported the media outlet, adding that other than "The Vampire Diaries," Dobrev hasn't had much commercial success. The website also labelled Dobrev as a "D-list television star."
Gossip Cop has dismissed the Celeb Dirty Laundry report as speculative, noting that Stowell and Stone are not dating and Dobrev isn't affected by their non-existent romance.
However, according to a Star magazine report, Stone and Stowell's off-screen chemistry has caught the attention of the cast and crew of "Battle of the Sexes."
"Emma and Austin are inseparable," a source close to the rumoured couple revealed to Star magazine in their June 13 issue, reported HollywoodLife. "There's a real connection there. They have the same sense of humour and are constantly teasing each other in between takes about how sexy they look in the funky 1970s-inspired get-ups they have to wear," the source said.
"The cast and crew are always saying what a cute couple they make. Emma and Austin try to brush it off, but you should see the way they blush!" the insider added.
Dobrev and Stowell split up in February this year after dating for almost seven months. The split came as a surprise, as Dobrev's Instagram account was filled with pictures of them hanging out and enjoying each other's company. Reportedly, their busy work schedules came in the way of their romance, and the couple is said to have split amicably.
Dobrev was in a longtime relationship with her "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder before she started dating Stowell.
